First up.
China and Mozambique have agreed to upgrade their bilateral ties to a community with a shared future in the new era.
The decision follows a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping
and his Mozambican counterpart Daniel Chapo in Beijing.
Xi Jinping said China is willing to work with Mozambique to foster new engines for cooperation in agriculture,
new energy, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence.
He also said that China stands ready to work with Africa to address the spillover effects of the Middle East war.
Chapo on his part says China's major initiatives are helping steer the world in a positive direction,
adding that his country is ready to advance cooperation with China in economy and trade,
agriculture, as well as the energy field.
