Iran says it's close to an agreement that could allow commercial shipping to resume through the Strait of Hormuz.
Officials say the proposed deal may not involve the United States and has not yet been finalized.
Reporter Samir Hashmi has more from Dubai.
And he also said yesterday that he expects the reopening of the Strait
of Hormuz to be announced soon in the next few days.

Roughly 350,000 Haitians living in the U.S.
Have been stripped of their temporary legal status.
NPR's Adrienne Florido reports they're now vulnerable to detention
and deportation weeks after the Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration.
TPS allows people from certain countries to live and work in the U.S.
Because of dangerous conditions in their home countries.
People from Haiti have benefited from TPS since 2010. But President Trump moved to terminate their temporary status,
and in June the Supreme Court said he could do so.
That ruling has now taken effect.
Haitians now face being deported to a country that even the Trump administration acknowledges is very dangerous.
Armed gangs control much of Haiti.
Many of the 350,000 Haitians affected have U.S.-born children.
