19 分钟Okay, everybody, let's talk about why can't I accept uncertainty?
If this is a question that you have asked, cheers, we are going to talk about it together.
So let's talk about it.
There is an anxious person and a non-anxious person.
And they both have an upcoming doctor's appointment, okay?
The non-anxious person is going to the doctor's appointment.
They have a normal degree of anxiety or uncertainty about it.
And they get up through their week pretty well.
The anxious person spends a ton of time in the week coming up to that appointment
or a ton of time after that appointment waiting for the test results.
Worrying, catastrophizing, going to the worst case scenario.
Let's use another example.
A non-anxious person and an anxious person both receive a text from a person.
Might be a simple, very simple statement with a very short period at the end.
The non-anxious person can understand that they probably lost track of time.
Or they didn't have a lot of time to respond.
Whereas the anxious person has so much anxiety about what does this mean?
What do they think?
Do they hate me now?
You know, why didn't they respond back with hearts, emojis, and exclamation marks?
