The momentum for the Democratic Party's left flank slowed in the early hours of Wednesday morning
as moderate David Crowley eked out a surprise win in Wisconsin's gubernatorial primary.
It was a stunning turnaround.
Just over a month ago, the Milwaukee County Executive dropped out of the race
because he wasn't catching on with voters.
But he was compelled later to rejoin and to stop a Democratic Socialist from becoming the nominee.
He addressed that remarkable comeback in his victory speech yesterday.
