The National Development and Reform Commission has rejected MEDAS acquisition of the AI startup.
Unlike chatbots that only generate text, MEDAS autonomously plans and executes complex tasks from data analysis
and coding to research and file processing.
Last December, Manus announced that it would join U.S. Tech giant Meta in a deal of over 2 billion U.S. Dollars.
