Join yoga and meditation teacher Jonathan Relucio for a trauma-informed practice combining mindful movement and breathing to reduce tension and build resilience to stress. How To Do This Practice:  Get comfortable: Sit or lie down and notice the support beneath your body, keeping your eyes open or closed—whichever feels comfortable. Connect with your body: Bring your attention inward and notice how your body, mind, and heart feel in the present moment. Release tension: Inhale as you gently shrug your shoulders toward your ears, then exhale as you relax and release them. Move with your breath: Inhale as you reach your arms overhead, then exhale as you gently bend from side to side, noticing the sensations in your body. Breathe into your belly: Place one hand on your belly and notice it expand as you inhale and relax as you exhale, following the natural rhythm of your breath. Pause and notice: Return to your natural breathing and take a moment to notice how your body and mind feel before continuing with your day. Scroll down for a transcription of this episode. 单集文稿 ...

  • I've been trying a different kind of chewing gum lately, underbrush from Nathan and Sons,

  • and it's become part of my daily routine.

  • I brush in the morning and at night,

  • but after lunch, there's usually a long stretch when I'm not really doing anything for my teeth.

  • That's where underbrush fits in.

  • You chew it for about 5 to 10 minutes as a simple oral care habit between brushing.

  • Then you can spit it out or keep chewing if you enjoy the texture.

  • What makes it different is that it's made with hydroxyapatite,

  • the same mineral or teeth they're made from, along with natural ingredients like mastic, spruce, chicle, and myrrh.

  • Because it's made with natural saps instead of the typical synthetic gum base,

  • it's a firmer, more satisfying chew that I really like.

  • I also appreciate that this isn't some giant candy company.

  • Underbrush is made from scratch by the Nathan & Sons team in their Northern California facility.

  • And they're still a small founder-led company that's hands-on with making, packing, and shipping every order.

  • If you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth,

  • head over to NathanAndSons.com and check out their Underbrush Remineralizing Gum.

  • Right now, you can get 30% off your first order when you subscribe.

  • Visit NathanAndSons.com today.

  • When we're under stress, our bodies often shift into a state of alert.

  • Our heart rate rises, our muscles tense, and our nervous system prepares us to respond.
