And speaking of change, let's get into today's episode.
It's early morning on a hot day and I'm trekking through an impenetrable forest deep in southwest Uganda.
Now it 's a steep walk, but it 's all worth it because I 've come here to find out about solutions
that are transforming the lives of a local community and also that of a troop of animals that call this jungle home,
the mountain gorilla.
We've just been told to put on our masks, close by.
And just like that, we've already spotted a gorilla.
I'm Myra Anubi, and from the BBC World Service, this is People Fixing the World.
Today, I'm taking you on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda,
a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of only three places in the world where these animals can be found.
The king of the forest, the mountain gorilla.
