单集简介 ...

A woodcutter is treated badly by the people in his village because he looks a little different. One day he's had enough of the name-calling and runs away. In a clearing he discovers an exciting but scary goblin dance. He joins in, but notices all the goblins are staring at him. Will they also tease, and call him names? Listen to storyteller Sharon Jacksties tell this moving story from Japan and find out what happens. (The goblins in this story are a little bit scary.) Learn more about your ad choices. • Hello and welcome to Super Great Kids Stories.

  • Wise tales from storytellers around the world which will make you laugh and sometimes cry.

  • Recommended for ages 5 to 105. I'm Kim and I love stories.

  • Last week, we had a funny story from Japan about a giant of a man.

  • And this week, we have another story from Japan about some goblins.

  • It's a moving story told by Sharon Jacksties, who is new to Super Great Kids stories.

  • The story has a good ending, but the goblins can be a teeny bit scary.

  • So, if you don't like scary stories, maybe you could find a happier story to listen to.

  • If you're an owlet, you might enjoy this month's lively bonus,

  • The Grasshopper, told by Belgian storyteller Rebecca Lemaire.

  • How are you, super great kids?

  • Happy June.

  • What a lovely month June is.

  • A time of holidays and playing and maybe even a bit of travel.

  • I'm just back from my travels now.

  • I've been in the beautiful Shetland Islands in the far north of Scotland and in fascinating Vietnam in Southeast Asia.

  • In Vietnam, I hiked in the mountains on the border near China, stayed on an island

  • where they had no cars but quite a few monkeys and went up a river in a boat that was powered

  • by an expert rower who used only her feet to move the oars.

  • And I went into some caves where there were thousands of bats.
