President Trump says the U.S.
Is making progress in the war it is waging with Israel against Iran.
Speaking at the White House yesterday, Trump says one of his goals has been met.
We killed all their leadership, and then they met to choose new leaders, and we killed all of them.
And now we have a new group, and we can easily do that, but let's see how they turn out.
We have really.
Regime change.
You know, this is a change in the regime because the leaders are all very different than the ones
that we started off with that created all those problems.
But critics of the war say while there has been a change among people who are leading Iran,
the Iranian regime is still intact.
Meanwhile, the Associated Press reports Pakistan has received a copy of what 's been described as a 15-point peace plan
from the Trump administration to Iran about ending the war.
But officials in Iran have consistently denied that any negotiations are underway.
A spokesman for Iran's Revolutionary Guard asked the U.S.
If it was negotiating with itself.
No peace plan has been publicized.
Still, NPR's Dia Hadid reports, Pakistan's prime minister says his country is ready
to host talks to help settle the conflict.
