British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he will resign.
Speaking earlier today, Starmer says he'll step down as the head of the governing Labour Party.
That means he'll end his job as the UK's leader.
NPR's Lauren Freyer says Starmer was under pressure to quit.
He was elected two years ago with a landslide majority in parliament
and now he has the lowest approval ratings of any prime minister in UK history.
Part of it is scandals you may have heard about, his decision to appoint Peter Mandelson,
a friend of Jeffrey Epstein as the UK ambassador to Washington,
but part of it is Starmer's failure to connect with people and to deliver real change that he promised.
NPR's Lauren Freyer reporting.
Negotiators from the US and Iran wrapped up their first high-level talks early this morning in Switzerland.
Both sides have agreed to a roadmap to set out a fresh deal within 60 days.
Technical talks are supposed to get started immediately.
