26 分钟Cutting through an overload of information to get to the heart of the story.
This is The Point.
From made in China to serviced by China, this year's China International Fair for Trade and Services,
or SIFTIS, is being held in Beijing from September the 9th to the 13th.
This year's fair has brought together nearly 2,000 exhibitors from 90 countries,
regions and international organizations.
Meanwhile, for the first seven months of this year, China's trading services is up 8%.
Building on an already upward trajectory.
What's new at the fair this year?
Why are Chinese services so much in demand?
Is the trend set to continue?
Welcome to this edition of The Point with me, Lu Xin, an opinion show coming to you from Beijing.
I'm pleased to be joined from Rome, Italy by Ivan Cardillo, chairman of the Italy-China Business Development Forum.
From Portland, the U.S., by Professor Liang Yang, Kramer Chair Professor of Economics at William Met University.
And from Beijing by He Ping, Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University.
The warmest welcome to all of you.
So, first of all, for those who may not be very familiar with professional jargons,
