that they feel like they're not lovable for their anxiety, for their thoughts, for their actions.
Or maybe it's like even on a good day, they still don't feel good enough.
So what I want to do today is I want to walk you through
about a 10 minute exercise that you can practice and remember.
Anytime this is coming up to help you with the exact experience that you don't feel good enough.
My name is Kimberly Quinlan.
I'm an anxiety and OCD specialist.
I believe that when we learn to safely and kindly have these intrusive thoughts
and these feelings and all of these experiences
that we can learn how to trust ourselves again and love ourselves again and feel safe in our body.
So let me tell you exactly what I teach them
and then I'm going to give you some skills on how to do this.
So I actually have a little prop that I use and it looks like this.
This is the actual prop that I use with my clients.
And I use this exact prop to explain to people about shame.
So I use the example of when my son went to kindergarten, on the table was one of these.
