the real story isn't just what they bring to the countryside, it’s what they bring back.

After that, streaming handed us the remote for good, and we devoured whole seasons in a single weekend.
But now the pendulum is swinging back again.
Weekly drops are making a comeback, short-form is stealing attention,
and the binge model is asking itself: did we change storytelling forever,
or is this just the next twist in an old tale?

But for thousands of Chinese university students, it's also a time to leave campus
and step into rural communities through the "Three Going to the Countryside" program—that's what it's called.
