Discussion keeps the world turning.
This is Round Table.
Forget the Great Wall, forget the pandas, but just for a minute of course,
because the new reason millions are flooding into China this summer isn't ancient history, it's the future.
People are coming for humanoid robots, brain-computer interfaces, and rocket launches that turn the sky into a light show.
With over 22 million foreign arrivals already this year, tech tourism is creating a new China checklist.
Don't forget on Wednesday we're going to be talking about Chinese Valentine's Day so we want to hear from you.
These are the two questions for you to answer:
Number one, what is the number one thing you look for when searching for a new partner?
And number two, what is it like dating in your city or your country in 2026?
That might be in China or anywhere around the world.
We're coming to you live from our studios in Beijing.
This is Round Table. I'm Steve Hatherly, thanks for being with us today.
And for the show, I'm with Yishen and Yushan.
First up, China has always had some pretty obvious items on the foreign tourist checklist.
I'm guessing that you could guess them yourself.
Maybe climb the Great Wall, wander around the Forbidden City,
go see the pandas of course, that's a must-do and must-see.
Those are the classics.
But this summer there seems to be a new kind of China experience catching on.
