  • in the northern Chinese province of Hebei.

  • During the forum in May 2023, the Chinese leader called for efforts to form up confidence and maintain resolve

  • while taking solid measures to achieve new progress in developing Xiongan.

  • And then in a tour to this area earlier this year,

  • President Xi Jinping urged greater efforts to build the area into an innovation hub

  • and a model of high-quality development.

  • Xiongnu area is located some 100 kilometers southwest of Beijing.
