Let's say a student came up to you and said, hey, Professor Grunt, I need your help.
I just, I feel lonely, man.
Even when I'm with people, I feel lonely.
They'll invite me to a party and I still feel lonely.
I'll go out with them.
I'll feel lonely.
I just don't feel like I have people in my life.
What would your advice be?
I think my advice would be to change your rituals for how you interact.
This is why so many super teams fail to win in their first year.
Is they haven't figured out how to vibe yet.
You've got a bunch of individual stars.
But I will bet on the team with more shared experience
over the more talented team that's never figured out how to collaborate.
And so a group of researchers get together and say,
what if we could look at people's rate of professional misconduct by whether they're Ashley Madison users or not?
And what the data showed was you can look at CEOs,
you can look at police officers, you can look at investment analysts.
Their rates of misconduct are two to three times higher if they cheat on their spouses.
So if you invited me to a game night, I would come.
