1 小时 8 分钟Here I am at the table, and I know I have something to say, but I'm dealing with that mental block.
They know better than me.
I probably shouldn't say anything.
I'm just going to be quiet.
How, Tori, how did you get over that?
Remove that lie that I've told myself a lot of my life, which is you don't have anything to offer the conversation.
People just know you as a singer, so just sing your little songs.
I think I grew up feeling like my opinion didn't matter.
I think I've had to unlearn that.
You do have...
Something to say.
You can offer something to the conversation.
When it comes to self-worth, what have you learned now about your self-worth that you didn't know before?
I think I've definitely struggled with self-worth, I would say.
I've been an artist for most of my life and a singer most of my life.
And I think me as a person and me as an artist,
A lot of times it was hard to separate that, especially growing up.
Because, you know, if I'm singing for people and I'm getting applause
and, you know, getting a reaction, I'm like, oh, cool, I'm worth something to them.
And you were signed really early.
