1 小时 5 分钟Oh, hey, it's that little tiny pumpkin on your co-worker's desk that stays good for months at a time.
No one knows why.
Allie Ward.
And there's a secret about that opener at the end of the episode, but let's get to it.
So this was supposed to be a bonus episode of last week, but there's so much good info and it went long.
So we decided to just make it a full Tuesday release.
So batten your hatches.
And get set to hear once again a guest who got his bachelor's, master's,
and PhD in physical meteorology from Florida State University.
He's been a NASA researcher, the president of the American Meteorological Society.
He was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Weather and Climate Research by the White House.
And in 2021, he received the American Geological Institute's
Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Public Understanding of the Geosciences.
He has advised the U.S.
Senate, the Department of Defense, and Congress on climate.
And he's currently a distinguished professor of geography and atmospheric sciences at the University of Georgia.
I was there last week hanging out with him.
He co-hosts the Weather Channel's excellent podcast, Weather Geeks.
He writes for Forbes.
He's authored several books, including a kid's book called Dr. Fred's Weather Watch.
