26 分钟Cutting through an overload of information to get to the heart of the story.
This is the point.
Iran confirmed Sunday that its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in US-Israeli attacks on Saturday.
A country has now formed an interim leadership council until the selection of the next Supreme Leader.
US President Donald Trump warned Iran not to retaliate.
Further, after US-Israeli strikes, all American forces would hit them with a force,
quote unquote, that has never been seen before.
The world's reactions have been very mixed.
with some Western countries warning they could join the war on Iran
while China has firmly opposed and strongly condemned the killing of the Supreme Leader.
So what comes next for Iran?
What endgame are the US and Israel pursuing in the region and how far could the ripple effects spread across the region and possibly beyond?
