Some young conservatives, with both young and conservative being wildly relative terms here,
have seized on disgraced ex-president Richard Nixon.
J.D. Vance, almost certainly a contender for the presidency in 2028,
and activist Chris Ruffo have praised Nixon, suggesting his legacy should be reconsidered.
But why?
Largely because he's a cultural symbol.
A symbol of hostility towards a liberal establishment that they believe has run amok,
that needs to be replaced by a so-called new establishment.
