Chinese President Xi Jinping says China and Vietnam should accelerate the alignment of development strategies
and prioritize infrastructure connectivity.
He made the remarks when meeting with Vietnamese President Toh Lam, who's on a four-day state visit to China.
President Xi also called on both sides to strengthen cooperation in emerging fields,
such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and the Internet of Things.
The two leaders witnessed the signing ceremony of multiple cooperation documents.
The documents cover areas including inter-party exchanges,
economy, industrial and supply chain cooperation, science and technology, and people's livelihoods.
