I'm Tim Franks.
But two things we've long learned about Donald Trump,
that he's prepared to excoriate, to strip, layers of foreign leaders of countries,
which you might consider to be long-standing allies of the United States.
And that he's prepared to do so in public, as well as in private.
In fact, often to give that foreign leader a dressing down in private,
but then to tell reporters exactly what he just did in the most florid terms.
And so it has been with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Which is, in its way, remarkable given how close, particularly Mr Netanyahu,
has tried to frame his positioning next to President Trump.
But the latest comments are much more profoundly where the balance of power appears
