These days, election day isn't really a thing.
It's more like election month.
But here's a question.
How secure is our voting system, especially considering
that the president has spent the last several years explicitly attacking its integrity?
The president wants to use the post office to control who does not get mail ballots.
This morning, with the midterms fast approaching, President Trump attempting to crack down on mail-in ballots.
We'll never have an honest election if you have mail-in.
And it's time that the Republicans get tough and stop it.
He repeated unsupported claims of fraud.
He accused China of obtaining thousands of voter rolls.
Trump has challenged states' authority on their voting rolls, raised fears about foreign interference.
Tried to change the rules on mail-in ballots, and basically just confused the hell out of everybody.
But it's worth asking, has it worked?
To some degree, I think the administration has succeeded in creating
some confusion about the rules or a lack of confidence.
But the only way that that campaign to undermine our confidence
and to sow distrust actually works is if voters stay home.
