Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez is on an official visit to China.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said the five-day visit marked Sanchez's fourth visit to China in four years.
During the visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with the Spanish Prime Minister.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Chairman
of the National People's Congress Standing Committee Geology will hold talks with Sanchez.
It 's reported that he will visit the headquarters of tech giant Xiaomi and host a forum for Spanish and Chinese firms
in the fields of energy, infrastructure, bioscience and technology.
Sanchez is also reported to visit the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
