14 分钟Hello, hello, dear listener, and welcome into IELTS Speaking Part 2. Describe a boring place.
You should say where it is, who you went there with, what you did there,
and explain why you think it's a boring place.
Rory, give us your story.
Well, I don't usually go out of my way to be in places that are dull,
but the one that most clearly comes to mind is the Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee.
Speaking about exactly where it is, it's located on the waterfront area of the city, next to the riverbank.
I think it was meant to be one of the centrepiece attractions there,
but I'm not sure that's panned out very well, unfortunately.
Which is a shame, since it's only about a half hour walk from my home,
and it had great potential, and maybe still does.
If we consider who I went there with, well, actually,
I've been there a few times, despite the fact that I dislike it.
The most recent visit was with one of my friends who came to visit for a holiday.
We wandered around about for a while inside since she's an artist
and was really keen to see all of the different things there.
They had an exhibition on for kimonos, which for once was actually quite interesting.
But generally speaking, it's not like that.
When I think about exactly what went on there,
aside from wandering around looking at these various exhibits, not a great deal.
