Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says China and the United States should stay firmly on the right course
toward building a constructive bilateral relationship of strategic stability.
He made the remarks during a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Wang said building such a relationship reflects the aspirations of the two peoples,
meets the expectations of the international community, and serves the fundamental interests of both countries.
Wang said the two countries should extend the cooperation list and narrow the list of problems.
He also urged Washington to handle Taiwan-related issues with extra prudence.
