A federal judge has temporarily blocked President Trump's
decision banning three media organizations from the White House.
The judge ruled the White House must restore access to CNN, MSNOW, and Politico.
The outlets sued, alleging the White House blocked them because President Trump doesn't like their content.
Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza has been a major topic during the UN General Assembly this week.
Several world leaders have used their speeches to bluntly criticize Israel's conduct.
Now, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have his turn to address UN delegates today.
NPR's Kat Lonsdorf reports.
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres first condemned the Hamas-led attack on Israel in 2023,
but then said what followed by Israel was a, quote, onslaught on Palestinians in Gaza.
He also said Israeli violence
and settlement expansion in the Israeli-occupied West Bank is raising the, quote, specter of ethnic cleansing.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Gaza as a, quote, concentration camp,
while Jordan's King Abdullah II said Israel is a, quote,
regional threat that operates with terrifying levels of impunity.
Netanyahu has yet to directly respond to much of the criticism,
but is set to land in New York on Thursday, address the UN,
and return to Israel all in the same day.
