Oh hey, it's your brother's best friend's girlfriend, who is a chatbot, Allie Ward.
And I have mentioned this ologist on the podcast numerous times.
Every time someone asks, who's your dream guest?
It's this guest.
They founded the Institute for the Betterment of Skunks and Skunk Reputations.
Got his PhD studying skunks at Texas A&M University, has been featured on PBS,
various TV shows, high-profile periodicals, even has a character named after him.
In a children's book called A Boy Called Bat.
His website notes that he is a mechatologist.
I have emailed.
I have found old, disconnected landlines and called in vain.
I have found his spouse's work Instagrammed and DMed to no avail.
I have begged a friend and a guest of the show,
Dr. Ted Stankowicz, to put in a good word, and I finally convinced him.
How much we needed him on the show and we secured an episode.
I traveled to New Mexico with your pod mother, Jarrett,
who made me a shirt with a drawing of a baby skunk and the words, we meet at last.
And I showed up at the appointed time and place 10 minutes early,
which we spent scouring the parking lot for a glimpse of his legendary car.
But before we meet this incredibly endearing guest, and hop into part one of this two-part series.
