China has announced that President Xi Jinping will attend
the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in the city of Bishkek.
During his five-day trip beginning on Sunday, the Chinese leader will also pay state visits to Kyrgyzstan and Egypt.
China's foreign ministry says Xi Jinping will exchange ideas with other leaders regarding deepening SEO cooperation
and draft plans for guiding the organization's high-quality development
and participating in the reform of the global governance system.
China says it is willing to work with all countries to write a new chapter for cooperation
and contribute to security, stability, and development.
