A U.S. Army Apache attack helicopter with two pilots aboard crashed near the Strait of Hormuz.
There's no word from the U.S. military.
The incident was first reported by the New York Times.
Last night, President Trump confirmed the incident.
"The pilots are fine, yeah. Nobody injured. We are going to issue a report." There's no word on what caused the crash,
including whether it was attacked or if there was mechanical failure.
Lebanese state media say the Israeli military has attacked the ancient coastal city of Tyre.
One person has been killed.
Rescuers are searching for missing people.
Four other people have been killed in other parts of southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, Israel is warning it could attack the Christian quarter of Tyre.
NPR's Jaina Raff reports the city's historic old section has been the last remaining refuge for more than 15,000 people.
Israel has been attacking Tyre for the past two weeks, saying it's targeting the militant group Hezbollah.
But it left the mostly Christian section near the city's Roman port and areas around it untouched.
