and we 're going to go through this together most people wait until their anxiety is completely overwhelming
before they start a self-compassion practice now what i want you to know here is real resilience is built through repetitive
daily gentle consistent support this is n't support coming from other people while that 's wonderful
and exactly what we want we want to be the first line of defense when things get hard we want to be a safe place for ourselves
when we 're engaging in our anxiety recovery this practice is not about getting rid of anxiety it 's actually
quite the opposite It 's about changing our relationship with the discomfort that we feel,
the difficult emotions, the difficult times,
and so that we can move towards being our absolute biggest supporter and our biggest cheerleader.
