  Hello, super great kids.

• 00:37

  Guess what?

• 00:38

  It's our birthday.

• 00:40

We are six podcast years old.

• 00:43

And thanks to you and your love of stories,

• 00:46

what started as a very small project has grown bigger and bigger and bigger.

• 00:53

So now, thanks to everyone who subscribed and helped to keep us going,

• 00:58

lots of children and families around the world listen regularly to traditional tales.

• 01:04

  Hurrah!

• 01:05

And thanks to Bloomsbury Publishers, there is even a beautiful children's book of our stories, Yippity-doo-da-day.

• 01:13

So to celebrate, we have two little stories as a birthday bonus for you.

• 01:19

The one about the sun is a little fable from Greece.

• 01:23

And the one about the moon is a story from ancient China,

• 01:27

which explains why Chinese people have a festival on the night of the full harvest moon.

• 01:34

Which happens to be this weekend.

• 01:37

So, under the same moon, the people in China will be celebrating

• 01:42

and we will be having our birthday party, dancing in the moonlight.
