Hello and welcome to Super Great Kids Stories.
Wise tales from storytellers around the world which will make you laugh and sometimes cry.
Recommended for ages 5 to 105.
I'm Kim and I love stories.
Today we continue with our theme of animal tales and we've got a how
and why story from the United States called Why the Bear Hibernates.
It's told by Scottish storyteller Cara Silversmith.
How are you super great kids?
I hope you had a good week.
I had a lovely time visiting the ancient city of Bath.
My highlights included swimming on a steamy rooftop pool in warm water which comes from deep under the earth.
And going for a walk with my family and hearing a Chiff Chaff calling,
which is a little bird whose song sounds like a squeaky wheel.
For me, it's the sound of spring arriving.
Spring is in the air and on our monthly online show this weekend, storytellers Amy Douglas, Jason Buck
and Despina Ariu from Greece had great fun telling stories about birds.
Owlets hopped in to listen from all over the world, including Estonia in Northern Europe.
And hello to you in Estonia.
And a special hello to Eric, who celebrated his sixth birthday with us at the show.
I hope you had a happy day, Eric.
