Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of an upcoming AI conference in Shanghai
and deliver a keynote address.
The 2026 World AI Conference and a high-level meeting on global AI governance will convene
from July 17 to July 20. China's foreign ministry says Xi Jinping will elaborate on China's policy stance
and concepts regarding the development and governance of artificial intelligence.
Organizers say this year's conference will feature more than 140 forums, 1,100 guests, and 1,100 exhibitors.
More than 300 products are set to make their global debuts at the upcoming event.
