First up, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng has called on China and Britain to uphold true multilateralism,
push forward global governance reform, and enhance global stability and certainty.
He made remarks in a meeting with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper in Beijing.
Cooper said that the two countries share broad common interests
and potential for cooperation in trade and investment, AI, green development, and climate action.
In a separate meeting with his British counterpart,
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on China and Britain to further communicate and align their positions.
Cooper has paid a three-day visit to China.
It followed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's high-profile trip to Beijing in January.
