calling on all parties to cease hostilities.
The UN says reports that hundreds of people had been killed and injured are appalling.
Israel has carried out its heaviest strikes across Lebanon since the current round of conflict with Hezbollah broke out.
It came hours after the announcement of a two-week U.S.-Iran ceasefire.
The U.S.
And Israel claim that Lebanon is not included in the current truth.
In the meantime, Iranian media reports say the Strait of Hormuz has been fully closed once again
