Chinese President Xi Jinping says China and the United States have agreed to work towards building a bilateral relationship
of constructive strategic stability.
The Chinese leader made remarks while holding talks with his U.S. Counterpart Donald Trump in Beijing.
Xi Jinping said he expects 2026 to be a historic landmark year that opens up a new chapter in China-U.
S. Ties.
He said China-U.
S. Economic ties are mutually beneficial and win-win in nature.
He also emphasized that safeguarding peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait is the biggest
common denominator between the two countries.
President Trump highlighted the significance of the meeting.
The U.S. Leader described the presence of the high-level American business delegation he has brought with him as a gesture
of respect towards China and its leader, saying they look forward to trade and doing business.
He added that the relationship between China and the United States will be better than ever before.
