Today we're talking about peptide shots.
You might be wondering, why are people injecting themselves with drugs which aren't for humans?
Well, in this episode, we 're going to find out what 's behind the unregulated peptide shots in particular,
what 's in them, and we 'll talk about the health risks.
So just to be totally clear, when we say unregulated peptides,
we 're talking about peptides that ca n't be given to you by a doctor.
They haven't gone through clinical trials or testing on humans, so they're not approved for human use.
We can't be sure what's even in them.
And we don't even know what long-term impacts they have on the body.
Some people report side effects, and some doctors are worried that some peptides could even promote tumor growth.
Despite this, peptide wellness shots have been all over social,
