President Trump says Iran has requested a meeting.
Writing online last hour, Trump says it will take place tomorrow in Doha, that's in Qatar.
The talks had seemed to be on shaky ground this weekend after Iran attacked
two ships in the Strait of Hormuz and fired on two U.S.
Allies in the Gulf region.

It was a tense weekend in the Gulf with back-and-forth attacks.
Iran says the U.S.
Is violating the Memorandum of Understanding signed this month to hash out a permanent end to the war.
Iran insists it retains control of the vital Strait of Hormuz
and objects to a new route established by the UN's International Maritime Organization.
Iran fired on two ships transiting along that route.
That drew a strong U.S.
Military rebuke with airstrikes in Iran.
Throughout the weekend, Iran launched missiles at Bahrain and Kuwait, which have large U.S.
Military bases.
