I'm Lucy Collingwood and you're listening to the documentary In the Studio from the BBC World Service,
where we delve into the creative process.
And today I'm following the crime writer Karen Slaughter,
whose books have been translated into 37 languages, selling 40 million copies around the world.

He's a special agent in Atlanta, Georgia, who notices clues others have missed.
