1 小时 37 分钟Oh, hey, it's your 2002 sedan on hospice, gulping down Pennzoil Alley Ward,
and I hope you are sleepy because we're going to fix our lives, all right?
Plaguing me most of my life.
Is this variology.
Somehow, I am friends with a researcher who tackles it.
So they did their psychology undergrad at the University of New South Wales, got a master's from Australian
National University and a PhD in behavioral psychology with a focus on sleep studies at TQ University.
You may have already seen them on their PBS series BrainCraft via YouTube or other news sources.
They are highly lauded for their science communication work.
They're famous for it.
They're also my longtime friend.
So picture, if you will, a brilliant
and a funny scientist with an air of like a young Winona Ryder in a gossamer sundress.
As a fellow Angeleno and a friend, I made them come to my home studio
where we did not record in my home studio.
But rather we flopped on the couch with my 14-year-old stinky gremlin snoozing between us.
We literally talked for hours.
It was very hard to edit this episode down.
We were just gabbing about why sleeping feels so good, but why sometimes we are like cats resisting a bath about it.
So we're going to address that in a moment.
