36 分钟Welcome to the Listening Time podcast.
Hey, everybody.
This is Connor, and you're listening to episode 154 of the Listening Time podcast.
I hope you're all doing well, and I hope you're ready to practice your english with another episode.
And in today's episode, we're going to talk about something that many of us struggle with.
When you struggle with something, this means that you have difficulty with it.
It's something that causes you some problems.
So this is something that many of us struggle with, which is impostor syndrome.
So I'm sure a lot of you have heard of this before, but maybe some of you haven't.
When someone has impostor syndrome, this means that this person doubts their skills, their talents, their achievements, and they can fear, they might be afraid that they're a fraud.
So a fraud is someone who's kind of like a fake.
They're not legitimate.
So this person might feel like they're a fraud and that they don't deserve the success that they have.
So this is a negative syndrome.
A negative condition.
Of course.
However, it's really common.
I think, that many people experience this in different areas of their life or during different seasons of their life.
By the way, we can use the word season figuratively to talk about different time periods in your life, different seasons of your life.
So I think this topic is very relevant to a lot of people.
