Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Jisoo.
I'm Crystal.
And I'm Komakshi.
This week, we invited our friend Komakshi, who is someone who also grew up in Cupertino, and she also went to UCSD with us.
She's also best friends with Tinea from episode eleven, which is love your immigrant parents.
And she likes watching and playing basketball, and she's a Warriors fan.
So welcome, Komakshi.
Awesome.
Thanks for having me, guys.
I'm super excited.
So we brought Komakshi on to talk about imposter syndrome.
Right now, I feel like we are in that kind of age range where just so many different aspects can pile together to cause the ultimate imposter syndrome.
There's things like being, on average, younger than a lot of people around you, as well as maybe not having as much work experience, and then finally being minority woman in the workplace, which can sometimes present its own disadvantages.
So as we work through these different factors revolving around imposter syndrome, we also want to make sure we kind of present our case on how we personally work through these challenges so that hopefully we can kind of grow some confidence together and see what we can change and what we can fight in the workplace.
To see what we could change in our actions, but also what we can kind of fight for in our workplace.
I don't know.
I guess to make sure that younger generations who start work below us don't have to face the same struggles of imposter syndrome.
So let's get some background first on Komakshi.
