  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Jisoo.

  • So today we're back with a two person episode, and I think the topic for today's episode is very funny.

  • Crystal and I wanted to talk about facing awkward situations, especially as adults now, navigating through the work life and also potentially some awkward friendship moments.

  • Dude, I think this is also so applicable because, I mean, hopefully we'll be seeing each other in person again within the year or so.

  • Hopefully if the vaccines are able to get distributed.

  • I was, like, chatting with some friends on the phone the other day, and they're like, oh, sorry, guys.

  • I don't know how to act in social settings anymore when there's more than three people.

  • So I feel like we'll be facing a lot of awkward situations soon.

  • Yeah.

  • And it's so funny because I guess I never realized, like, the void in my life of awkward situations in the past year or so.

  • I am kind of an awkward person, and I definitely have a ton of really cringe moments that I faced in real life.

  • And now that we're all digital, I feel like it is kind of nice to get a break from the, like, awkward moments.

  • So should we start with some examples of some awkward situations we've been in in the past?

  • Oh, I have one that I personally cringed so hard on the inside when this happened.

  • I think, like, just thinking about it, I'm like, oh, God, I'm, like, shivering.

  • So basically, mother's day last year.

  • We were already in, like, shelter in place and working from home by then, and my team decided to have a virtual happy hour.
