  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Niu Yu.

  • So today's guest is a college friend of mine.

  • She went to UCSD with me and Jisoo, and she has a very interesting background, and that's one of the big reasons why we wanted to invite her on this week.

  • She has a very interesting origin story.

  • So, Nunu, you can go ahead and kind of give a breakdown of your background.

  • So, yeah, thank you guys for having me.

  • I'm very excited to be here.

  • I'm Chinese, but I was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, and then I moved to San Diego for college for undergrad, and then now I'm attending my master's at NYU, so I'm recording with Crystal in person.

  • That's pretty cool.

  • Wow.

  • Well, that was actually, like, a lot shorter than I thought.

  • When Crystal first explained to me new news background, I was like, wait, what?

  • And I think I asked a bunch of different questions.

  • So when people, you know, when you get the time old question of where are you from?

  • How do you usually explain it to them, and what kind of responses do you usually get?

  • Normally, I'll go with I'm Chinese, but I was born and raised in Hungary.
