单集简介 ...

It's been almost 3 years since we've graduated, which means we've also been working for a similar amount of time. While the 9-5 does have its ups and downs, we're mostly grateful to be along for the ride! Today we reflect on our past few years of being a corporate slave (haha jk) and rate some of the job advice we've been given when we were students. • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Jisoo.

  • Today's topic is actually something that me and Jisoo have been really excited to talk about for a while now, but we kind of had to, I don't know, I guess, like, muster up the courage and accept that we're fully functioning adults who have been working for a while now in order to be able.

  • To talk about this topic right now that we really can't call ourselves students anymore.

  • I think there's been a ton of changes, and today we wanted to really talk about any of the reflections that we've had experiencing the nine to five work life.

  • And also we wanted to do a fun little segment where we rate the job advice that people have given us.

  • Yes, I'm pretty excited to look back at some of the job advice that was received during, like, college and stuff.

  • Also, side note, whenever I fill out forms and stuff, and it's like, what is your occupation?

  • I'm always tempted to put students.

  • Dude.

  • Okay.

  • I was actually thinking about this recently, since now that vaccination appointments have opened up.

  • You know how on the vaccination form, at least in California, they sometimes have a dropdown that says, like, oh, what?

  • You know, industry do you work in?

  • And my biggest complaint is that for some reason, I feel like the categories there are really outdated.

  • Like, it's literally like, oh, I work for communications or agriculture or finance.

  • And then there's literally nothing that says, like, sales.

  • And there's also nothing that says, like, technology.
