Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Jisoo.
I'm Crystal.
And I'm Jaime.
So today we've brought on my good friend Jane.
She and I go way back since, like, 6th grade, but Jane had actually been with us on episode number 45, hash Girltalk, the relationship timeline.
But today we also wanted to bring her back because Jane recently graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the arts education program.
So we thought, let's do a kids episode.
Yeah.
I think Jane mentioned that she was, like, part of this fellowship where they learned a little bit more about childhood education.
I guess it ties in really well with art in general.
This is like the formative years of cultivating imagination and artistry.
And I guess we are also at a point in our lives where, you know, the more you think about it, the more just childhood babies, parenthood pops up in conversation and things that are happening around us.
So we thought Jane would be the perfect guest to talk more about just kids around us and also how our own childhood or childish needs are assuaged.
Yeah.
So before going to Harvard, I was actually teaching art to young children.
I studied arts education when I was at grad school, and I was an early childhood education saints fellow.
And as part of the fellowship, my focus was on children's picture books because I hope to write an illustrated children's book in the near future.
And so I guess that's where I'm at currently.
