  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • I'm Daniel.

  • I'm Sheng Wei.

  • This week we have Sheng Wei and Daniel on because we wanted to talk about something that's been on our minds lately, I think going to the gym.

  • So for me, I have never been to the gym, but I've been thinking about going to the gym, and I have a story about that later to share.

  • But Daniel and Shanghai both are, I guess, in my eyes, like pros at the gym.

  • They go a lot.

  • They know their way around, and they're well seasoned participants of gym activities.

  • So we thought it would be fun to have them on and talk about things like gym etiquette, motivations, going to the gym, as well as just any funny stories and experiences regarding the gym.

  • Yeah.

  • So I think a good question to kick this episode off is related to Crystal's story.

  • So for both of you guys, when was the first time you went to the gym and did you have any fears or distrust before you stepped foot into a gym?

  • For me, I think I first started gyming because of sports in high school.

  • So after our morning practices from swimming, we would, like, some of the boys would just go to optional gym time, and then the coach would help us lift or tell us to train.

  • So it was mainly for strength and stuff, but I mainly stuck with the machine stuff because the free weights were kind of scary.

  • I think that's where I kind of started.

  • I guess I first stepped into a gym in, like, middle school, but I didn't actually, like, work out.
