Hi.
Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.
I'm Crystal.
I'm Jisoo.
And I'm Melissa.
So welcome back, Melissa.
We've actually had her on previously, but it was a long time ago.
It was actually episode 29.
So almost 100 episodes ago, we had Mel on, and we talked about how to quit your first job.
This week, though, we invited Mel on because we wanted to talk about loneliness.
Mel is a close high school friend who is one of the slightly earlier people who moved away from the bay after college.
A lot of us either moved away, like, right after college, there's a couple of people who did that, and then the rest of us just, like, stayed in the bay, but Mel left after about two years in the bay.
And I think that caused a lot of lonely times just because it was like a new city away from friends.
And I remember Mel had mentioned it to me before, so we thought it would be valuable to talk through those times of loneliness and how you handled it.
What even is loneliness?
To start off the episode, let's talk about how you define loneliness in your life.
Hmm.
I feel like loneliness.
To actually define it is actually kind of hard.
I feel like putting, like, a definition to, like, a feeling can be difficult to, like, vocalize.
