  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • And I'm Crystal.

  • So to kick off one of our first episodes in the season, we wanted to talk about something that's pretty integral to our daily lives.

  • You might spend a lot of time doing this, you might hate it, you might love it, but either way, you're always kind of thinking about it.

  • And today's topic is actually driving.

  • Yes, this was an integral part of my life in the past, but lately, not as much in the city, but whenever I visit home, I'm always driving.

  • Yeah, just like you, I've also had a lot of ups and downs in the frequency of my driving and also, like, the length.

  • I would say in college, I felt like I drove a lot more and did a lot more road trips.

  • And now it's mostly like short little drives to target or the grocery store or something.

  • Yeah, I drove a lot in college as well, especially because during breaks, I would always drive home from San Diego all the way back up to the bay.

  • And then coming back from breaks, I would drive from the bay back down to San Diego.

  • So that those are like, what, seven ish hour drives?

  • So I think I probably drove the most miles in college.

  • That's a long drive.

  • I don't know, about 7 hours, but for me it was always like nine or ten just cause we would stop by in LA and get a meal or something.

  • But maybe we can start by talking a little bit about this specific drive that we used to always do.

  • So this is pretty much driving on the I five all the way from the Bay area down to San Diego.

  • And you pass through LA.
